it is possible to keep the passion burning long. it is possible to fight together and not give up. it is possible to hold on to each other and cross the finishing line together, as a team.
the 37th had done that. and i am proud to have such seniors.

elects camp was diffcult. it was tiring. but it was fulfilling. the seniors made it clear, through their determination and actions, that there will be no giving up, no backing out, no matter how tired or injured you are. we are one. we stay as one.

the hike was tiring..a little torturous. but we pulled through. i dont know how far we have travelled...but i know that it was 5 hrs plus worth of non stop hiking + running. the seniors were always behind encouraging...urging us to go on... and we did. we pushed on. although there were mistakes, thankfully there is still time to correct them.

the night activity. something which seemed almost impossible. but we did it. we came from all directions of the school, and came together, forming one long line, at the parade square. the process was good. we cooperated although we were all blind and mute.
the process wasnt easy. i banged into walls, boards, more walls...fell down stairs... but it was worth it. and it was this game which spurred me to care for the other people whom i was holding on. even though my ankle was strained, i felt the need to stamp my feet on the ground to warn others about stairs. the others did the same.
and there was the frusterating roll call. it kept stopping at 68 when there were 72 of us. as i was the first one, i kept doing roll call after roll call. it was frusterating.. but when it finally hit 72, i cried.

the last event- the leaning ring thingy. watching at the side lines, i was so proud of my fellow 38th councillors when they accomplished 3 mins. it was no easy feat and i could see pain in some of their faces. but we did it people.
then it was the 37th turn. they held on for 10 mins 10 sec. it was amazing. their aim was to last thru the 2 sch songs and the council song. but they went the extra mile and did more. looking at the side lines, i really understood what passion and teamwork meant. they were functioning with one heart. they were really one, not 74. this is what the 38th should aim for. everyone pushed on not to let themselves and the others down. this IS teamwork.

the experience was great. though tough, i'm glad i went.
